P & G Wells University Bookshop

P & G Wells has run the student bookshop on campus at the University of Winchester since 1996, and we've been based on Level Four of the University Centre since it opened in 2007. We stock all available books on current reading lists for courses at the University, and we can order any other books that are in print and available as required.

Saturday: 10.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m.
Sunday: 2.00 p.m. - 4.00 p.m.

We also run a busy second-hand section, which takes old textbooks on a sale-or-return basis.

Buying Textbooks

Students of the University of Winchester can buy textbooks in the following ways:

Option 1: Buy directly from the campus bookshop.

• You can browse before you buy
• We have the books right here, right now.
• We take cash, credit cards, debit cards, Electron, cheques, Book Tokens and National Student Bookcards.
• For each new semester, we have many special deals, discounts and 'bundles' - all the books on one reading list at a bargain price.
• We also have some exclusive editions - custom editions and bundles available only from us.

Option 2: Buy directly from our online partner The Hive.

• All the books from the reading lists are there
• Delivery to P & G Wells campus shop within 48 hours.
• Pay online with credit card or debit card.

Option 3: Try Amazon for comparison, but we think you'll find:

• Not all your text books are available
• Delivery is 3 - 5 working days, but to where?
• On the whole, there is no price advantage there.
